Artist Statement #4

Out of all of the projects we have completed this year this project was the most interesting for me to create. I used a combination of design software including illustrator, photoshop, and procreate. Through these applications I was able to create all of the art and gifs for my web adventure. I decided to base the topic of my project on the 1st world problems many of us deal with on a daily basis. I wanted to make the end goal of every path to show the viewer that their problems are very small and that they need to think about bigger problems. I decided to go with the overall aesthetics of black, white, and red while incorporating tattoo style designs throughout the adventure. I really liked making a choose your own path project because it gave so much room for different designs. Overall, I think I did a good job at executing the prompt in my own creative style.
