It was very interesting to read about "Balloon Dog Deflated" and its history on the internet. It was even more interesting to learn that even at its price of $5,800, it still hasn't been bought. This is interesting because the rise of digital artwork known as NFTs have been on the rise as of lately. These NFTs tend to typically sell for way more than $5,800 and be auctioned off for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I love to see how art has been progressing in this day and age because we truly are living in the middle of a artistic revolution. Art has now been digitized to adjust to the current times. People have made it possible to create masterpieces via digital programs. Although I don't like digital art as the traditional physical art I still love to see the progression of art through the ages and what it evolves to. For many people it may seem absurd to pay such high amounts for art you can't even physically hold but you have to look at it from a different perspective. With art in this format it is almost impossible for it to be damaged after you've purchased it in comparison to physical art. It also gives you the opportunity to sell and transport your art in an entirely new and different way. In my honest opinion, I have a lot of respect for the artists making a living in this format as it is an entirely new and evolving medium.
